Luxe Taste & Style is a young and dynamic publishing company created in 2014. Our flagship publications
are KACHEN, a quarterly magazine focusing on "Food and Lifestyle in Luxembourg," available in German,
English, and French, and REESEN, a travel magazine published in German and French.

Our magazines are globally accessible, sold in Luxembourg and across Europe at newsstands, kiosks, bookshops, supermarkets, airports, and railway stations, as well as online. We boast a substantial subscription base, with readers from Luxembourg to Hawaii receiving their issues via postal mail.

Responsibilities

  • Generating ideas for articles and features
  • Reading, writing and researching features and articles
  • Rewriting, editing, proofreading
  • Selecting articles and planning publication contents

Must Have

  • Bachelor Degree or Higher
  • Editorial experience
  • Multilingual writing skills
  • Driving license

Nice to have

  • Luxembourgish proficiency

What will the role involve

  • The candidate will be in charge of managing the overall production process.
  • Generating ideas for articles and features
  • Reading, writing and researching features and articles
  • Selecting articles for issues and planning publication contents
  • Rewriting, editing, proofreading and subbing copy to ensure that the contributions are ready to go to press
  • Ensuring that all feature articles comply with ethical codes of practice and legal guidelines

What are we looking for

  • A passion for food, travel, and the publishing industry
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field
  • Editorial experience, preferably in food, travel, or lifestyle publications
  • Strong writing and editing skills in French/German and English
  • Ability to understand complex subjects and explain them clearly to readers
  • Ability to work in a multilingual environment (German, French, English, Luxembourgish)
  • Fluency in French and English or German and English, Luxembourgish being an asset
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign would be an asset
  • Attention to detail, combined with an appreciation of the ‘bigger picture’
  • Ability to think on their feet and respond to events as they happen
  • Ability to take constructive criticism
  • Liaising with external parties and intermediaries
  • Driving license (class B)
  • EU citizenship or valid Luxembourg work permit

What we can offer

We offer an attractive compensation package, including a competitive salary that commensurates with your qualifications and experience. This is a CDI position.
The standard workweek comprises 40 hours, from Monday to Friday, with the possibility of occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines.
