"Fresh, regional, seasonal" - this is how the host couple Wagner describes their cuisine at the Boutique Hotel Genusswerk Eifel. They do without any convenience products and only the best ingredients go into the dishes – mainly from their own cultivation.
The fields of the Sachsen-Wagner organic farm are cultivated with rape, mustard, camelina, hemp and sunflowers, as well as cereals such as buckwheat and rye and a few orchards. The view of the fields and meadows is enjoyed above all by the hotel guests in the hotel's ten suites. Especially in summer, it is a wonderful and colourful sight.
In the farm shop itself, many of the products are offered for sale. This includes the gently and cold-pressed rapeseed oil from the farm's own cultivation – bottled by hand in light-protected clay bottles and ideal for roasting meat – for example, those of the farm's own Black Angus, Wagyu and Galloway cattle.
